Move to Unlock
Terms of Use
Effective and last updated: October 8, 2026
Agreement and prototype status
These terms apply to Move to Unlock, developed by AppsDev. By using the app, you agree to these terms and applicable Apple platform rules. If you do not agree, stop using it. The current project is a prototype, not a completed App Store release. It requires a compatible iPhone with iOS 17 or later; camera and Screen Time behavior must be checked on real devices.
Exercise safety
Exercise instructions and illustrations are general educational information, not medical advice or an individualized training plan. Assess your ability, health, surroundings, and equipment before exercising. Use a stable phone position and adequate space. Stop for pain, dizziness, or feeling unwell; seek medical advice or urgent help when appropriate. Consult a qualified professional if you are unsure whether an exercise is suitable. Do not force a movement merely to obtain an app-access reward.
Recognition limitations
The camera estimates visible geometry; it does not establish medically correct technique, muscle loading, safe foot placement, or chin clearance over a pull-up bar. Reverse lunges and pull-ups are experimental. Recognition may fail with lighting, framing, clothing, occlusion, or differences between people and devices. Simplified illustrations and easier alternatives do not guarantee that the camera will accept a movement. There is no reliable liveness or replay protection.
Screen Time and access windows
Access windows run by clock time, not by actual app usage. Reapplying restrictions depends on iOS DeviceActivity callbacks and permission; exact timing is not guaranteed. You must open the app manually from a restricted state. In individual authorization mode, you can revoke permission or delete the app. The prototype is not tamper-proof parental control and should not be relied on for emergency access, essential communications, or supervision of children. Preserve an appropriate way to access essential services.
Data and system permissions
Workout history and preferences are local. AppsDev does not promise recovery after deletion or provide cloud synchronization. History deletion cannot be undone within the app. You control camera and Screen Time permissions through iOS; permissions are needed only for the features that use them. Optional external sources are governed by their own terms.
Permitted use and availability
Use the app lawfully and do not bypass someone else’s device restrictions or record or display another person without permission. Features, recognition thresholds, and availability may change during prototype development. The app does not promise fitness outcomes, perfect counting, or uninterrupted restriction enforcement.
Responsibility and contact
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AppsDev is not responsible for indirect losses arising from unavailable features or reliance on recognition and restriction timing. Nothing excludes responsibility or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Updated terms will be published here with a revised date.
