Move to Unlock
Privacy Policy

Developer and summary
Move to Unlock is developed by AppsDev. The current prototype has no account, developer-operated server, advertising SDK, or analytics. Camera analysis, workout history, settings, and restriction state are processed on your device; the app does not upload them to AppsDev.
Camera and body-pose processing
Camera permission is requested for workout recognition. The front camera is active only on the workout screen. Apple Vision analyzes frames on-device to estimate visible body joints; temporary coordinates are used to assess movement cycles and visible plank time. Photos and video are not saved or transmitted by the app. It does not use the microphone, identify people, or create a personal biometric profile. Pose recognition is not a medical or identity assessment.
Screen Time selection and shared state
With your permission, Apple FamilyControls provides selections as application, category, and website tokens. The app stores these selections, whether restrictions are enabled, the access-window end time, and a monitoring identifier in local App Group preferences. The app and its DeviceActivity extension share this state on the same device to apply ManagedSettings restrictions. This is not transmission to AppsDev. Apple’s system authorization and Screen Time behavior are governed by iOS and Apple’s policies.
History and preferences
A local workout-history file stores a session identifier, exercise, completion date, accepted amount, and access minutes, keeping up to 500 records. Preferences such as onboarding completion, access-window duration, appearance, palette, sounds, volume, and vibration are stored locally. Workout history is written with iOS file protection. No cloud synchronization or recovery service is provided by AppsDev.
Controls and retention
You can delete workout history in Settings after confirmation. This clears history, not all preferences or Screen Time selections. The app offers a confirmed action to remove restrictions; you can also manage or revoke Screen Time authorization and camera permission in iOS. Deleting app data and managing backups are subject to iOS behavior; device backups may retain local data under your backup settings. Do not rely on uninstalling alone to manage every system restriction.
External resources and support
Exercise and parent guides include optional links to resources such as ACE, Mayo Clinic, and Apple Support. Following a link opens an external service that may receive normal network information and has its own privacy policy. If you contact AppsDev, we receive the email address and content you choose to send and use them to respond. The website contact form uses FormSubmit for delivery and is separate from the app. Do not send private workout video or sensitive health information.
Children and parental controls
The app does not collect children’s workout or camera data on developer servers. Its parent guide is informational and does not create a protected parental-control mode. An adult should assess whether exercises are suitable and use Apple’s system controls where appropriate. No personal details are requested from children through the app.
Changes and contact
This policy describes the current prototype. It will need updating if network services, accounts, storage, or processing change. For privacy questions, contact AppsDev at dev.play.apps@gmail.com.
